NT Resources Week happening soon
NT Resources Week was held at the Darwin Convention Centre on 24 and 25 August. This annual event is northern Australia’s largest resource industry conference and exhibition experience. NTGS presented in the Mining the Territory program.
AGES 2023 dates have been announced
The Annual Geoscience Exploration Seminar (AGES) will be held in Alice Springs on 18 and 19 April 2023, presenting the latest in new exploration and geoscience from across the Territory.
NTGS release spectral reflectance atlas of rocks from the Tennant Creek region
A comprehensive atlas of spectral reflectance rock characteristics from the Tennant Creek mineral field has been released. The Atlas contains mineralogy results, spectral characteristics and a comparison between visually logged and spectrally derived mineralogy for key rocks types from the Tennant Creek mineral field.
NTGS Brunette Downs Ground Gravity Survey released
Funded under the Resourcing the Territory initiative, managed by Geoscience Australia and infilled by industry partners, the NTGS Brunette Downs Ground Gravity survey has greatly improved resolution of the gravity data over a large area of the Barkly region, north of Tennant Creek extending to the Queensland border.
Record number of exploration programs receive co-funding
A diverse range of innovative drilling programs and geophysical surveys across the Territory will be co-funded under round 15 of the Geophysics and Drilling Collaborations program.
Legacy exploration data capture continues in the Barkly region
The ongoing program to capture all legacy open-file exploration drilling and geochemistry data across the Territory, continues with the release of data from the Bonney Well 1:250 000 map sheet.
NTGS representing the Territory at APPEA
The annual Australian Petroleum Production & Exploration Association (APPEA) Conference is being held in Brisbane from 16 - 19 May. NTGS will be presenting in the Technical & Business program.
Exploration grants closing soon
