The Department of Industry, Tourism and Trade (DITT) Mines Branch promotes and facilitates the growth of the mining industry. The Mines Branch regulates mineral development activities from the first grant of tenure, to the approval and regulations of operations, through site rehabilitation to closure.
A facilitated workshop will be presented and provide an opportunity for industry stakeholders and key DITT representatives from the Mines Branch, to discuss current issues, to share knowledge of what is working, and possible areas for further improvements.

AGES 2022 was held on 5 and 6 April 2022 and was attended by around 280 delegates from across Australia.

AGES 2021 was held at the Alice Springs Convention Centre on 20 and 21 April and was attended by over 260 participants from across Australia. This event was delivered in line with an approved COVID-19 event safety plan for the conference and workshop venues, taking into account the latest health guidelines at the time.
