More exploration success from brownfields co-funded drilling program
Thor Mining PLC announced the second drill hole from their Geophysics and Drilling Collaborations co-funded program has intersected a significant interval of mineralisation within a magnetite skarn at the Molyhil tungsten-molybdenum-copper project in eastern Aileron Province, Central Australia.
First release of inorganic geochemistry data from NDI Carrara 1
Geoscience Australia continues its release of data from the 1,750 metre deep stratigraphic drill hole in the South Nicholson region. NDI Carrara 1 was completed as part of the MinEx CRC National Drilling Initiative (NDI) in collaboration with Geoscience Australia and NTGS.
XRD data released from shales across the greater McArthur Basin
A new NTGS Record has been released containing X-ray diffraction data from 468 shales across the prospective greater McArthur Basin. The data identifies the bulk and clay mineralogy of the shales, which can be used to understand their heterogeneity, brittleness, and thermal maturity.
Release of legacy exploration data in the southern McArthur Basin
The ongoing program to capture all legacy open-file exploration drilling and geochemistry data across the Territory, continues with the release of data from the Bauhinia Downs and Robinson River 1: 250 000 map sheet.
