Core Lithium Ltd’s Finniss lithium mine, 80 km drive from Darwin, has officially opened. Mine development is well underway, with fresh spodumene pegmatite now exposed in the open pit.

NT Resources Week happening soon
NT Resources Week was held at the Darwin Convention Centre on 24 and 25 August. This annual event is northern Australia’s largest resource industry conference and exhibition experience. NTGS presented in the Mining the Territory program.

The Annual Geoscience Exploration Seminar (AGES) will be held in Alice Springs on 18 and 19 April 2023, presenting the latest in new exploration and geoscience from across the Territory.
NTGS release spectral reflectance atlas of rocks from the Tennant Creek region
A comprehensive atlas of spectral reflectance rock characteristics from the Tennant Creek mineral field has been released. The Atlas contains mineralogy results, spectral characteristics and a comparison between visually logged and spectrally derived mineralogy for key rocks types from the Tennant Creek mineral field.
