The Northern Territory Geological Survey is presenting in the Mining the Territory program as part of NT Resources Week on 24 and 25 August. Run in partnership with the NT Government, NT Resources Week brings together the key players in the resources and construction industry. This event connects attendees in the mining, exploration, engineering, oil and gas, constructions and environmental management for the sector across northern Australia and South East Asia.
The Northern Territory Government is advancing the Territory’s resources industry to realise a $40B economy by 2030. The Mineral Development Taskforce is playing a leading role in exploring strategy, policy, and regulatory options to drive investment in mineral projects and facilitate responsible growth of mining and downstream industries.
NT Resources week will explore key milestone projects such as the Middle Arm Sustainable Development Precinct and Sun Cable’s Australia-Asia Power link, as well as presentations on decarbonisation, new logistic hubs across the NT, onshore/offshore gas, critical minerals, hydrogen hubs plus updates from the NT explores and geological experts.
