The program includes presentations from NTGS, Geoscience Australia, CSIRO, universities and exploration companies on new geoscience data and concepts and exploration highlights from across the Territory. Topics to be covered include the Territory's potential for critical minerals such as lithium and rare earths, emerging insights into sediment-hosted copper and iron-oxide copper-gold potential across the Territory, updates on gold exploration in the Tanami and 3D geology and secondary prospectivity of the Pine Creek region.

A session on the Tennant Creek region will include recent research on fingerprinting fertile ironstones and details on recent copper-gold discoveries and greenfields exploration. There will also be a strong focus on basins, with the latest on shale gas exploration and appraisal in the Beetaloo Sub-basin, new information on stratigraphy and resource potential of the Birrindudu Basin and the latest from geological studies in central Australian basins.

Whether you are a current explorer in the Territory, looking for new exploration opportunities, or just wanting to network with the Territory exploration industry, AGES should not be missed.
